Lila- Beneath the Surface

I don't even know how long it's been since I've done a drawing. No, wait, scrap that, I don't want to know. Urgh.

Anyway, there's a bit of a story behind this one. I was looking online for some clothes for 6th Form (yes, that's how much time has passed, I've finished my exams and gone into 6th Form) and I saw an outfit on the H&M website that I loved...And anyone who knows me knows that I'm pretty much allergic to anything that isn't black or red, so to like a pink skirt was something of a miracle. I didn't end up buying it as I really would never wear it, but I knew of someone who would.

So, I started the picture but had to abandon it when term started, and I finally got back around to it. I only decided late on in the picture- As in, five minutes before I exported it as a jpeg- that I wanted it to have a darker twist to it. I've never done a darker picture with Lila so I wanted to see how subtle I could be with it. So whilst I kept the top and most prominent flower pink, I adjusted the colour of the other flowers so that they had a redder tint to them. Oh, and I added the blood coming from the corner of her mouth. Had to be done.
